Acabris! Acabras! Acabram! May the holiday season be magical and allow yours stories to soar high above the pine tree line to jump from the old year to the new one.  What about the Devil? We’re taking him on board, of course! The cotillion is much livelier when he’s there to warm bodies and souls!  …

Publication in South Korean Chaeg Magazine

Chaeg magazine inside layout showing a photo of a child transformed into a cat by Catherine Rondeau

I obtained a great publication in the latest issue of Chaeg, a South Korean cultural magazine. Not only are several images from my Beyond the Looking Glass series published, but also a text I wrote on the workings of children’s imagination. It’s amusing to see my words translated into Korean characters! Your browser does not seem to…

photo of hand waving from the water with text: CIAO FACEBOOK

It’s decided, I’m closing my Facebook account. And Instagram too (owned by Facebook). At first, I was curious to see if these platforms would help be stay in touch with my friends and promote my photography work. A big NO on both counts. The algorithms keep us caught in a vicious cycle: in order for…

A video about my Northern Crossing series

One of the great services offered to artists who exhibit at the Centre d’exposition de Mont-Laurier, is the production of a video about the event. These videos, that always feature interview segments with the artist, then serve as cultural mediation tools in the little exploratory space that adjoins the main show room. As a bonus,…

After unpacking the frames, we took the time to carefully consider the sequencing of the images. Olga’s…
