Only two days left to see my little photo exhibit during the event Les fenêtres qui parlent - 375e anniversaire de Montréal.
I shot this short video to have a keepsake of this great event. Thank you to my daughter Zoé for the dynamic editing work!
For an artist, I think it's alway moving to see one's work on exhibit. This time, presenting my image in the public space - literally in the street -, is particularly special. These past few days, I admit to have gone several times to the Première Moisson bakery, my exhibit spot on Bernard Avenue, to spy on passers-by. My photos are clearly getting noticed! People are turning around, pointing, coming closer and smiling! I witnessed an endearing conversation between two kids wondering how the little girl in one of my works got her cat whiskers & ears...
A bit THANK YOU to curator André Hénault for selecting my work for this event. And many thanks to fellow artist Anne Laudouar for organizing Les fenêtres qui parlent in Outremont. I'm also extremely grateful to Margerie Babin, branch manager at Première Moisson, for generally lending me her shop windows. ❤️
