I was invited to join a collective of artists from the Mauricie region to participate in the production of Project Osmose, an immersive video mapping creation. The works were projected onto three facades of the Galerie d’art du Parc’s Manoir de Tonnancour for the duration of the FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières.

When the second wave of COVID hit the Saguenay region hard, the Centre national d’exposition (CNE) in Jonquière was forced to close its doors just two weeks after the opening of my exhibition Beyond the Looking Glass. The event was extended until the end of March once the ban on access to cultural venues was lifted.

While the installation of the exhibition at the Peter B. Yeomans Cultural Centre proceeded normally, due to the Legault government’s decision to close museums and exhibition halls during the pandemic, the City of Dorval is offering the public a 360º virtual tour accompanied by a presentation video.

In Val d’Or, I have the privilege to be showing in the beautiful main exhibition space of VOART, the municipal exhibition center. The executive director, Carmelle Adam, curated and entitled the event Les états liminaires (which roughly translates as Liminal States).

Beyond the Looking Glass will again be presented this fall as part of the APPARENCES exhibition at the Yvonne L. Bombardier Cultural Centre in Valcourt. The event will also showcase the work of artists Chloé Beaulac and Luc Pallegoix. The opening will take place on Sunday, September 15, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the presence of the artists.

The very first public presentation of my “Northern Crossing” series is approaching. I’ve just seen the poster, and I love it! In addition to the large, beautiful prints produced in collaboration with Montreal fine-art printer Alix et Gagné, the exhibition will feature a never-before-seen installation work inspired by the series’ insane making-of.

It’s official: my Beyond the Looking Glass series will be on show at the Maison culturelle et communautaire de Montréal-Nord next spring. This will be the fifth presentation of this series of surreal works in the Accès culture Montréal network. Full details of the event on the official poster hereby attached.

Now in its tenth year in Montreal, LES FENÊTRES QUI PARLENT is part of Montreal’s 375th anniversary celebrations. The concept is fun and simple: pair artists with windows in different parts of the city for a friendly 5-day exhibition. The streets are transformed into a genuine open-air museum!

For those of you who haven’t yet had the chance to see the images from my Beyond the Looking Glass series on exhibit, I’d be happy to greet you at the opening being held next Thursday, Janurary 19th, at the Peter B. Yoemans Cultural Center in Dorval.

I’m just back from Amos, in the North-West region of Abitibi, where my series Beyond the Looking Glass is currently on show in the cultural center. Thanks to a formidable crew of professionals, lead by Marianne Trudel, the opening last Friday was impeccable. I am so grateful to you all.
